Alamance Food Collaborative
The Alamance Food Collaborative is an initiative created by Healthy Alamance in partnership with Impact Alamance to focus on policy, networks, and access that support food access in Alamance County. Members include: the local Health Department, hospital, non-profits, local food activists and entreprenuers, farmers, and city and county officials. Alamance Wellness Collaborative
The Alamance Wellness Collaborative is an initiative created by Impact Alamance in partnership with Healthy Alamance to focus on policy, systems, and environmental changes that support active living and healthy food access in Alamance County. Members include: city and county planning departments from various municipalities in Alamance County, the local Health Department, hospital, Parks and Recreations departments, chamber of commerce, Elon University, and community college. The intention is for collaborative members to develop their understanding of policy, systems and environmental change strategies that increase children’s access to physical activity and healthy foods in Alamance County.
